Turbosound launched its all-new IQ Series networked loudspeaker product line. The IQ Series features what Turbosound is calling “Acoustic Integration”, enabling digital mixers, personal monitor systems, and loudspeakers to communicate directly with each other via the company’s proprietary ULTRANET Technology.
Acoustic Integration allows users to change the sound system without ever leaving the mixing desk. Users can easily set up and adjust parameters directly at the loudspeakers, or remotely via a mixing console, PC, or tablet running downloadable apps.
Designed for FOH and floor-wedge applications, the iQ15, iQ12, iQ10, and iQ8 two-way loudspeakers are lightweight and portable and are meant to work with the company’s iQ18B and iQ15B subwoofers. All enclosures feature standard 35 mm pole-mount sockets.
The IQ Series is affordable (starting at $549.99) and aimed at small to medium-size venues, such as theaters, schools, and houses of worship. Here are all the specs.
