This channel strip plug-in combines the smooth EQF-100 parametric passive equalizer with the similarly firm-but-polite TLA-100A compressor. Together, they make for a versatile analog channel strip which will cover many mixing and mastering scenarios. Having the two combined in a single plug-in makes adjustments easier, as the compressor affects the equalizer and vice-versa. By default, the input goes into the equalizer before it hits the compressor, but this order can be reversed.

Recreated in cooperation with Empirical Labs, Trak Pak is a channel strip which combines emulations of the Mike-E compressor (split into Compressor and Drive sections), a 4-band parametric EQ with classic LF and HF fixed-frequency shelving filters, and a De-esser/HF Limiter in the Shape Section. Empirical gear is to kill for, known for precision and analog punch in equal terms. If you like the Distressor, there’s plenty more where that one came from!
